In Memory of a Humble Shepherd

This week, we gather in spirit to honor and remember a true servant of peace and compassion — our beloved Pope.

He lived not in grandeur, but in humility.
He chose the path of simplicity over comfort, and prayer over pride.
In a world so often caught in the chase for power and wealth, he became a shining light by walking always toward the humble, the poor, and the forgotten.
We deeply respect his life of service — a life that never sought the high places of the world but instead descended to where the suffering waited.
He prayed for the sick, the abandoned, and the lonely, and he became their voice when the world was silent.
Through his example, we are reminded: true greatness lies not in lifting ourselves up, but in lifting others. True richness is found not in possessions, but in compassion. True leadership is not ruling from above, but serving from below.
As we reflect on his legacy this week, let us also turn inward and ask:
"Am I walking the humble path? Am I serving with an open heart?
Am I praying not just for myself, but for those in need?"
May his spirit inspire us to live more simply, love more freely, and pray more earnestly.
May we continue his mission of kindness, humility, and peace.
In honor of our dear Pope, let us all bow our heads today and offer a silent prayer for the weak, the weary, and the forgotten — just as he did every day of his life.
May peace be upon his soul.
